"Let the dead past bury it's dead" - the dead past
"Let the dead past bury it's dead past -me
"Burying memories is Man's way of surviving. But there are some things a Man should never forget."- Gendo Ikari
Man moves on by burying his past. Those quotes are quite interesting only to me because it is an allusion, an allusion to something only that I have been dealing with.
This also brings up another question. Can someone become like a dead past? Some current living being turned into a past that you left behind,a past that has yet to let go it's past.
What IS the past? Is it recent things, actions, and emotions being felt, observed, or acknowledged? Is it subjective? Do some people experience time differently? Yes? No? One can be engaged in an activity and forget themselves, and one can just wait the day out. Now tell me, who felt the biggest pain in that same amount of time? So does that mean time is defined in moments?
Every hour, minute, seconds, are really nothing but an event happening after another event. The event may be extreme in it's definition and causes the mind to lose track of time. A reference point is made one after the other, just as how you can tell things are moving. So suppose I move a cup across the table, did time passed? Did you felt bored? Was that quick? It was quick wasn't it?
There goes some poppin' thoughts...
